Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools to support and close the attainment gap between groups of pupils.
The amount of Pupil Premium allocated to a school depends on the number of students eligible for free school meals, who are in care or who have a parent in the armed forces.
The money is used in a targeted and planned manner to ensure that those students who need it most will receive the benefits of the additional funding.
