​NEW! Acceptable Use IT Policy for Parents / Carers and Children

We are inviting all parents/carers to support the school’s approach to online-safety by role modelling safe and positive online behaviour for their child and by discussing online safety with them at home. Many parents already do this, and we want to encourage and support others.

We are adopting a new home ’Acceptable Use IT Policy’ for you to discuss with your child and sign. We feel that it is good to involve children as much as possible in the decision making process, and believe a shared commitment is the most successful way to achieve this.

Message from Go North East Regarding Industrial Action

​Dedicated scholars’ buses normally operated by Go North East will operate as normal during the strikes as they have been prioritised. Please be aware that these services are likely to be extremely busy and there is no available resource available to increase capacity on these routes.

For children, parents and staff that normally travel on local Go North East services to and from school, there will be no skeleton services in operation.

For holders of Go North East Season tickets (weekly, monthly, annual passes), please note these will be accepted on Tyne & Wear Metro services during the strike periods. Please show the staff your pass to travel.

Where people can, we advise them to make alternative arrangements.
